Four Leinster champions return to action this weekend determined to secure a place in an AIB All-Ireland Club Intermediate or Junior final.
The Leinster Scór na nÓg finals were held at the National Opera House, Wexford, on Sunday, 14th January and performers from five counties won titles.
History was created at Pairc Tailteann when Meath defeated Longford in a free-taking competition after their Bord na Mona O’Byrne Cup S/F ended level a.e.t. Westmeath also advanced to the final.
Kilkenny defeated Offaly in the first of the Bord na Móna Walsh Cup semi-finals on Saturday by 1-20 to 3-11, while Wexford beat Dublin by 1-20 to 0-16 on Sunday
Action resumed in the Top Oil Leinster P.P. Schools SH ‘A’ this week, with four Round 2 games. Six teams now remain in contention for glory.
