Beko Bua is a Quality Mark for All Clubs across the Province. By taking part in the Programme your club could win up to €1,500 worth of equipment!!
The Leinster GAA Beko Bua Award is a Qualtiy Mark for best practice for Development in GAA Clubs across our Province.
Bua is the Gaeilge for Win and to win consistently on the field a Club must be able to win off the field too. The Bua Award is a benchmark for Clubs to carry out a self-assessment to see if they are meeting or aspiring to the criteria necessary to not only receive special recognition, but also maximise their potential promoting Gaelic games in their locality.
By participating in the Bua Award programme, Clubs will be ranked into 3 Categories dependant on what Criteria they meet. These three categories are Gold, Silver and Bronze. Gold Standard Clubs will meet the Top Level of Criteria required and will be well on track to ensuring their Clubs Development and Player Retention policies are in line with Best Practice. Silver Clubs will be for those who have certain structures in place that are working well but have areas where with some assistance their Club can move into the Top level. Bronze are for Clubs who have identified areas that need improvement within their Clubs and are setting about securing their Clubs future.
This Year sees the Beko Bua Programme launch it’s new application process. The process will now be carried out in two distinct ways. Firstly through an online survey which will collect Data on each of the Clubs in relation to Player Numbers, Structures and Activity. This survey will then determine which of the 3 Categories that each Club fits into. Following this self appraisal Survey Clubs will then be asked to download and complete The Future Planning Form. In this Clubs will actively layout their Plans for the future with specific regards to Player Development, Retention and the Building of Community Links. A limited number of Clubs will then be awarded the additional prize of Equipment based around their plans for the Future.
