The Laois Senior Football Championship is also set for its biggest day with the Final taking place Sunday the 14^th October.

This years match up sees O’Dempseys take on Portlaoise. O’Dempseys saw off Graigcullen on a scoreline pf 2-13 to 0-14 to ensure the took part in this years centre piece. Portlaoise were in relentless form beating St Jospehs 4-15 t0 1-9 in the other Semi Final clash.

Hurling

The Laois Hurling Championship Final took place over the weekend with Camross facing off against Rathdowney Erril in O’Moore Park.

Camross won out the victors on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-19 points. They will now go on to face the Wexford Champions in the AIB Leinster Club Championship
