Kilkenny and Wexford secured passage to the Semi Final stages of the O’Neills.com Leinster GAA U20 Hurling Championship.

There was never any sign of a shock at UPMC Nowlan Park as Kilkenny defeated Offaly 3-21 to 1-16.

Harry Shine impressed for the Cats, scoring 1-3 as Derek Lyng’s outfit set up a semi-final meeting against Galway.

First half goals from Billy Drennan and Shine ensured Kilkenny led 2-9 to 0-9 at the interval.

Lochlan Quinn was sharp for Offaly, but a third Kikenny goal was planted with two minutes remaining by substitute Jack Doyle.

Luke Nolan netted a last gasp consolation for Offaly, but sufficient Kilkenny damage had been inflicted.

Wexford will now face Dublin in the penultimate round of the oneills.com Leinster U20 Hurling Championship.
