Dioralyte announced as Title sponsor for the Accident Tournaments
Leinster GAA is delighted to announce a strategic partnership with Dioralyte, who will now serve as the title sponsor for the Accident Tournaments: O’Byrne, Walsh, and Kehoe Cups. These tournaments are the hallmark pre-season competitions in Leinster, symbolizing the commencement of the Intercounty season each year.
The O’Byrne, Walsh, and Kehoe Cups hold immense significance in the GAA calendar, providing a thrilling start to the year for both players and fans. Not only do these competitions showcase top-tier talent in Gaelic games, but they also play a crucial role in raising funds for the Player Hardship fund.
The Player Hardship fund is dedicated to providing support to GAA players and their families in times of need. The funds raised through these tournaments contribute to the overall well-being of the GAA community, embodying the spirit of camaraderie that defines the association.
Dioralyte, a leading name in health and wellness, is proud to align with the Leinster GAA Accident Tournaments.
The partnership is a natural fit, as both organizations share a commitment to promoting health and supporting athletes in their pursuit of excellence.
“We are excited to welcome Dioralyte as the title sponsor for the O’Byrne, Walsh, and Kehoe Cups,” said Derek Kent, Cathaoirleach Comhairle Laighean. “Their dedication to health and well-being resonates with the values of our association, and we believe this partnership will not only elevate the profile of the tournaments but also significantly contribute to the Player Hardship fund.”
Also expressing their delight at the partnership was Dioralyte’s Larry McGowan “We’re delighted to be associated with such long standing and prestigious competitions which have seen many young players get their first taste of senior inter county action. We believe Dioralyte, as Ireland’s number 1 rehydration brand, is a great fit for these competitions and look forward to them kicking off in January”
The O’Byrne Cup begins on Tuesday January 2nd with the clash of Wexford and Wicklow, followed by the Walsh Cup on January 4th. Fans can expect an exhilarating start to the GAA season with top-class competition and the added excitement of Dioralyte’s support.
This collaboration marks a new chapter in the history of the Leinster GAA Accident Tournaments, as Dioralyte and Leinster GAA join forces to champion the welfare of GAA players and uphold the traditions of these esteemed competitions.
