Official Launch Of 2018 Leinster SFC

May 3rd, 2018

While Dublin are expected to dominate the Leinster Senior Football Championship again this season, several counties are entering the campaign with a point to prove.

After completing a record-breaking seventh Leinster title in a row last season, the reigning All-Ireland champions are hot favourites to retain the Delaney Cup.

But there are still some evenly-matched games in store in the coming weeks at venues across the province.

All counties were represented at the Championship Launch at the picturesque Trim Castle and the nearby Trim Castle Hotel on Thursday, 3rd May.

The action gets underway at Innovate Wexford Park on Saturday, 12th May when Wexford host Laois at 6.30pm.

A double-header will take place the following afternoon at O’Moore Park, Portlaoise, with Louth v Carlow at 2pm, followed by Offaly v Wicklow at 4pm.

Tickets for those three games are already on sale, and there are offers available for families and groups. (Further information on www.leinstergaa.ie/tickets)

Dublin will open the defence of their title on Sunday, 27th May, against the winners of the Offaly v Wicklow game.
