Club Action Around The Counties

With another hectic weekend of Club action coming up we take a look at whats happening around the Counties.

Carlow

Sunday see’s the re-fixed Senior Hurling Championship Semi Final between Ballinkillen and Naomh Moling take place. Throw in at Netwatch Cullen Park is at 4pm. While on Saturday a place in the Intermediate A Hurling Final is up for grabs when Naomh Eoin and Mount Leinster Rangers face off. Tonight the Intermediate B Hurling Championship Final pairing will be revealed with Burren Rangers taking on Naomh Bríd and Carlow Town Hurling Club taking on Ballinkillen, both games are set for Netwatch Centre of Excellence.

Dublin

A big weekend is in store for the Dublin Senior Football Championships with the Quarter Finals down for decision. Saturday see’s Parnell Park host St Judes against St Vincents and Ballyboden St Endas against Na Fianna. While on Sunday the clashes of Kilmacud Crokes against Clontarf and Castleknock against Thomas Davies will take centre stage. The Intermediate Football Championship has also reached the Quarter Final stage with Naomh Barrog v Trinity Gaels and Naomh Fionnbarra against St Finians on Saturday. Sunday see’s Scoil Ui Chonaill face off against Clanna Gael Fontenoy while the final pairing is the clash of St Patricks against Ballyboughal.

Kildare

In Kildare on Sunday the big game is the Intermediate Football Final with Leixlip taking on Monastervan in St Conleths park at 4pm.

Kilkenny

A busy weekend of action ahead in the Kilkenny Hurling Championships. Saturday see’s the Quarter Final replay of O’Laughlin Gaels and Mullinavat while on Sunday the rescheduled Quarter Final of Clara against Ballyhale Shamrocks goes ahead. Later in the day the first Finalist will be revlealed as Erins Own clash with James Stephens in Nowlan Park. Also on Saturday are the Intermediate Semi Finals. First up are last years beaten finalists Tullaroan against Young Irelands, before Thomastown clash with St Lachtains. Sunday also see’s the remaining Junior Semi Final go aheas with Barrow Rangers and O’Laughlins battling for a place against already qualified Conahy Shamrocks

Laois

The big day of the year in the Laois Senior Football Championship is this Sunday as reigning Champions Portlaoise look to defend their title against first time finalists Killeshin.

Longford

On Sunday the Longford Senior Hurling Champions for 2019 will be crowned with Longford Slashers facing off against Clonguish Gaels at 3.30pm in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park

Louth

Louth also have reached the penultimate stage of their Senior Football Championship with Naomh Mairtin facing off against Newton Blues on Sunday.

Meath

Meath Senior Football Championship will learn it’s final pairing this weekend. Saturday Summerhill and Simonstown will batlle it out for a final birth while on Sunday Ratoath will face off against Gaeil Colmcille. The Intermediate Football Semi Finals are also down for decision with Nobber taking on Castletown on Saturday and Trim facing off against Oldcastle on Sunday. The Junior Championship will also learn its finalists as already qualified Moylagh await the winners of Ballivor and Clann na nGael on Saturday. Sunday also see’s the replay of the Senior Hurling Final take place as Kiltale and Kildalkey battle it once more.

Offaly

It’s a big weekedn of Football action in Offaly with both Senior and Senior B Finals up for decision. The Senior B decider see’s Bracknagh clash with Beal Atha Chomair on Satruday while reigning champions Rhode look to defend their crown on Sunday against Ferbane.

Westmeath

In Westmeath this weekend we will have new Senior Football Champions as St Lomans and Garrycastle battle it out to be their County representatives in this years Leinster Championship. Throw in is this Sunday at 3.30pm

Wexford

It is set to be a hectic weekend in Wexford with the weather having played havoc in recent weeks. On Saturday the Senior Hurling Semi Finals will take place in Innovate Wexford Park with Ferns and St Martins up first followed by Rapparees and St Annes Rathangan. With Naomh Eanna out since the group stage who will be corwned Champions in 2019. The Football Championships are also in full swing this weekend with the Intermediate Finalists set for decision. Saturday Naomh Eanna and Crossabeg Ballymurn will clash while on Sunday St Marys Maudlintown will face off against HWH Bunclody. Sunday is Senior Football Final day with Gusserane O’Rahily’s clashing with Castletown at 3.15pm in Innovate Wexford Park

Wicklow

The Senior Football Championship in Wicklow has also reached it’s Final Day. Sunday will see new champions with St Patricks Wicklow Town facing off against Arklow Geraldines-Ballymoney. Throw in at Aughrim is 3.30pm
