The Meath Senior Football Championship last weekend learned who would be competing in this year’s show piece.

The first Semi Final saw Donaghmore / Ashbourne take on Summerhill. Summerhill proved too strong and ran out eventual winners on a score line of 3-12 to 2-07.

The other Semi Final pairing pitted Simonstown against St Peters Dunboyne. The Dunboyne men won the day by 14 points 2-16 to 0-8 to secure their place against Summerhill

Hurling

The Meath Senior Hurling Championship crowned its 2018 Champions over the weekend.

Kiltale took on Trim in a high socring and pulsating affair. The Kiltale men won the day in the end on a scoreline of 2-18 to 0-14. They will now go on to face the Wexford Intermediate Champions in the AIB Leinster Intermediate Club Championship
