The Carlow Senior Football Championship Final took place on Sunday in Netwatch Cullen Park.

In a low scoring but tight affair Eire Óg saw off the challenge of Paletine to be crowned Champions for 2018 on a scoreline of 0-09 to 0-05.

The Final saw Eire Óg face off against Paletine. Eire Óg came through the Semi Final match up against Mount Leinster Rangers on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-5. While the other Semi Final pairing saw Paletine hold off Rathvilly 0-15 to 0-9. Throw in Sunday 8th October is at 3.45pm

Hurling

The Carlow Senior Hurling Championship is also reaching its conclusion with Mount Leinster Rangers set to face off against Naomh Moling on Sunday the 14^th October.

In the Semi Final Mount Leinster Rangers were victorious against local rivals Ballinkillen while Naomh Moling triumphed over Naomh Eoin by 2 points to earn a well-deserved place in this Year’s decider. Throw in time will be announced closer to the date.
